The purpose of this website is to provide libraries with resources for informing the public about health research, with the ultimate goal of enabling people to make healthier choices from advances that emerge from the research.

Obesity: The Science Inside has been named a 2007 Health Information Award winner by the Health Information Resource Center. The book won a bronze award in the patient education information class.Asthma and Allergies: The Science Inside also won a bronze award in the same category in 2005.

Money and resources are available to libraries that wish to do health outreach related to skin health in 2007-08. Click here for more information and to download an application. Applications are considered as they are submitted. Congratulations to the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library, the Red Feather Lakes Community Library, and the Coquitlam Public Library, which are the first three libraries accepted for this new round of funding.
